1. Being an admin, being a part of the RE family is a privelege.

 

2. If you are active in the room, it would be nice to put the room in your status.  It lets others know where you're having fun at.
 

3. Anyone under 18 in profile will be bounced.                      

 

4. *If a chatter is on cam and looks to be of questionable age, please check for a profile first.  If no profile is available and the chatter is on cam, ask for the chatters age…if the chatter does NOT give their age and you believe they are under age, bounce them.  If the chatter does respond and states their age, and it's under 18, please let them know they must leave, and give said chatter a minute to leave on their own accord.  If they don't leave on their own, remove them. It is important we do not allow underage chatters in our room regardless what age their profile states.

 

5.    Please use common sense when dealing with chatters.

 

 

Red Dotting

1.    Dotting allowed if DJ’s music has stopped and DJ has not responded within a minute. 

 

2.    If you give someone a Red Dot, please put in an admin whisper why the chatter was dotted. Also, if possible, send a message to a board member or room manager letting them know who you dotted and why.**

3.    Mic jumpers should be dotted and warned, then undotted. If the jumper does it again, then they are to be bounced.

 

4.    Anyone that you Red Dot please let them know why they received the dot, then undot them.

 

Bouncing rules:

1.    No bouncing for personal reasons, if you do not like a person please ignore them.

    *If you're caught bouncing for personal reasons, you may lose your hat.*

 

2.    Assist all non-admin chatters in the room who are being harassed

 

3.    Please issue a warning to those chatters who are acting inappropriately, if they persist after warning, then bounce the chatter

 

4.    Bounce anyone who is intoxicated AND acting inappropriate in the room.  
    *If an admin is being harassed, allow that admin to bounce when they feel its appropriate, not you.
    *Be tolerant, but do not allow it to affect the room. 

 

5.    Racial Slurs:  We do NOT tolerate any type of racial slurs, remarks, or attacks.  First offense, the chatter will be dotted and warned.  Second offense, the chatter will be bounced.  Repeat offender after having already been bounced from the room, will be banned.   Also, if any chatter has a nazi symbol on their cam, that is an automatic bounce.

6. If you bounce someone, please send an admin whisper as to why that chatter was bounced.  Also, if possible send a message to a board member or a room manager letting them know who you bounced and why. **

Whispers:

1.  Please use whispers for room business only when possible.  
 

2.  Feel free to open up an Admin PM box to discuss things which may not be appropriate for the Admin whispers.


  DJ Music in the room is one of our best features, so please encourage each other as well as other chatters to play music. 

 

1.    Music must be played through your sound card, not through your speakers.

 

2.    During peak/prime time hours those on mic MUST have a working microphone to talk through. Our peak hours are from 9pm - 2am (EST) every night. Those are the only hours we will enforce having DJs talking while spinning. 
 

  *DJs with a mic are allowed to play 3 songs per turn.  DJs with no mic are allowed to play 2 songs per turn.  Read the Banner! 
 

3.    Be respectful of all chatters, no degrading anyone, in any manner.
 

4.    Check the banner before putting your hand up!

 

5.    We will have some scheduled DJs, they will do 1 or 2 hour sets.  Check the schedule. 
 

6.    In the best interest of the room, please keep the music upbeat and fun.  We want the room to enjoy the tunes.
 

7.    DJ's..... no movies, no songs with audio breaks, no continuous techno, but singing on mic is allowed if singing with the song. Please try to welcome some chatters in, and those who cam up.

 

8.    Please do not talk negatively of any other room or people from other rooms while on the mic.

 

9.    Be you, do your thing, make it your own and own it, have fun, keep it upbeat.  Remember you're trying to keep the room engaged and entertained.
 

 
--This is a music room, so 95% of the time the mic will have music on it.  There will be times we open the mic up to talk, have rambles, or for special events.  Also, the mic cannot be left unoccupied.  If you are on the mic and need to leave, please make sure that someone is taking the mic, or contact someone to put the bot back on the mic.
